Our Approach To Swimming Lessons
We have been providing fantastic swimming lessons to thousands of children and adults in Hemel Hempstead for 15 years.
Our aim is to provide the very best quality swimming lessons in a safe and secure environment. We provide a friendly and personal service, where we believe that every child is unique.
We believe that learning to swim is an essential skill that will provide your child with fun and exercise for the rest of their lives. Our classes are taught by friendly and enthusiastic teachers and is based on creativity and fun. Our goal is to create a lasting, positive impression on both our students and their parents that will last long after our classes have finished.
All of our instructors are fully qualified, insured and hold an up to date DBS check. Our training is on going as we strive to deliver the most up to date techniques and strokes to your child during their swimming lessons.
Our expertise lies in guiding nervous swimmers, be it adults or children. We believe in a compassionate approach, tailor-made to ensure that our clients can learn at their own pace, without stress.

- ASA level 2 in teaching aquatics
- Swim England - Levels 1 & 2
- STA - Level 2 Parent and Baby and Pre-school Instructors,
- STA - Level 2 in Teaching People with Disabilities
- NPLQ Lifeguards,
- First aid in sport
- Safeguarding and protecting children
- Level 2 award in Multi Skills (multi sports), FA football coaches, Basket ball coaches Qualifications,
- Funkey Fitness are a Member of Swim England, we follow the Learn to swim program. Every child will have the opportunity to take part in our termly assessments and then purchase their award when it has achieved
